The "Heads Up: Concussion in High School Sports" initiative provides tools and information for high school coaches, athletic directors, athletic trainers, parents, and athletes with the goal of raising awareness and improving prevention, recognition, and response to concussion.
Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports
CDC "Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports" focuses on improving prevention, recognition, and response to concussion among young athletes participating in organized and unorganized youth sports and recreation activities.
Heads Up to Schools: Know Your Concussion ABC’s
CDC’s "Heads Up to Schools" initiative provides school nurses, parents, and counselors, teachers and other school professionals (K-12) with information on how to help prevent, recognize and respond to concussion.
Heads Up to Clinicians:
The "Heads Up to Clinicians" initiative focuses providing information, as well as diagnosis and management tools, for health care professionals working in the acute care and primary care settings to help improve a patient’s health outcomes following a mild TBI. In addition,the initiative includes educational materials for patients, clinical diagnosis and management guidelines, and online tools and training.
